Simple advice to increase your website's conversion rate?
Don't promise things your product can't deliver.
2015: "How should this button look like?"
2025: "Would this feature convert people to the paid plan?"
Can we build a design community here?

Not sure this is how hashtags work, but if you see this, it worked :D
I probably only read 80% of the books I own, trending down.
13.12.2024 14:16 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0A simple framework I learned while working with fast-growing startups:
The 40/40/20 rule of product design:
40% - Understanding the problem deeply
40% - Getting feedback & iterating
20% - Actually designing
Most junior designers do the opposite and wonder why their work doesn't land.
You heard it here first:
Tomorrow I will launch my first ever waitlist for a product I've been so passionate about!
3. Present the solution
- "This is the new design, and it comes with 3 things"
- "With this, we might increase our conversion rate"
After presenting, always collect feedback. You want to make sure people get the chance to challenge your thoughts, + you can improve.
How do you present design? :)
1. Start off with why this design matters (the problem)
- "this was difficult for our users"
- "conversion rate was low in this section"
2. Show your thought process
- "That's why I looked at this problem again"
- "That's why I interviewed 3 users"
Mediocre designers: Share the Figma link
Good designers: Present their designs with a prototype
Great designers: Tell a story while presenting
Great designers know how to present designs in order to convince stakeholders.
Here's how to tell a good story in 3 steps:
ux design, web design build in public

Let's talk about Shadcn UI:
Shadcn/ui has been all over my social media accounts in the past few weeks, for a good reason:
- It's sleek
- It's modern & minimalistic
- It comes in Figma & as code components
What do you think about it?
