3. The slogans of Reform will start to come apart with more detailed scrutiny.
4. While F might be v attractive to some, he would be v unattractive to more. To win politicians need to be not too repulsive and have a wider range of policies that are not too offensive to most.

My suspicion is that:
1. With a lower turnout in local elections, a higher proportion of those who do vote are older. This will under represent more progressive younger voters who would turn out in a ge.
2. In a ge more would vote tactically.
