Beard drawing tutorial: Prepare skin by painting desaturated area in cooler tone over where beard roots will be. You might have to adjust shadows on skin later. Then with a soft brush, block in the beard shape and color. Let some desaturated grey peek through. Finally use a hard brush to add details but don't overdo it. Think about beard hair texture (curls, waves, straight). Let some of the soft edges and desaturated grey peek through, especially at the beard/skin junction.
