I was wondering if you had any comment about Andor at all, if you’ve seen it?

You guys enjoyed seeing the speeder bike helmet print- so here’s a chest plate upgrade I 3D modelled myself and printed for my Sabine cosplay!
I did my own 3D model because the others either, I don’t like the shape, or they don’t really account for there actually being a bust under the plate 😭🤣

Some files/prints can’t be power sanded because of the texture/design
With something like that, I hand sand, use tools like needlefiles, sanding sticks, sanding sponges and filler primer to get it to a level I’m happy with.
So here’s my process for sanding prints
If it’s got large flat areas- Mouse sander, 60 and 120 grit, spot fill with bondo or car filler
Sand by hand quickly to remove excess filler
Motip spray putty (filler primer)
Light sand
Repeat Motip and sanding until you’re happy with the smoothness.
Been chatting with people over on another platform about sanding/finishing 3D prints, and I was suprised by how many people think sanding prints is too hard, or they just don’t do it.
Sanding is a hugely important step in my process and it’s definitely worth the effort to me
