Was asked awhile ago about Nobility hierarchy in Vestur. Each kingdom is ruled by a Monarch. They oversee Lords and Ladies, who hold authority over a lordship (piece of territory). They in turn appoint the Viscounts, who are granted their title based on what they can provide to the commoners.

Agree. I'm glad it's remembered fondly by so many artists online. I remember my sister renting it from blockbuster when I was a kid... I was transfixed, but nobody at school had ever heard of it!
