Yeah, they don’t really interest me too much. Cool to see an indie breakout happen on that scale, but I don’t think they’re gonna be my jam.

James Downey’s appearance in One Battle After Another sent me seeking out the thing I best know him from, one of the all-time great SNL ad parodies.

I rewatched this again the other night and found myself grinning at every new character introduction, but laughing out loud with joy at that William H. Mustache, and that William H. Mullet.

A movie prop I would *love* to own is Jesse’s terrible painting of William H. Macy’s character Little Bill in BOOGIE NIGHTS.

It’s often mistaken for a Dirty Harry movie, but it’s not actually part of any franchise. Great poster—I actually scored a blu ray with that cover!
