An empty can rests upon an empty bench. I used my Zenzanon 40mm lens to capture this image and used ilford FP4 film. I focused on the can and used the straight lines of the bench to direct the viewer’s “eye”

Antiqua Boat Sheds with a couple of boats on the river waiting for customers. I used the Zenzanon 150mm lens to focus on the boats leaving the reeds in the foreground blurred.

Backlighting seems suited to this scene of the trees overhanging the Avon river which flows through Christchurch- Bronica etrsi, Zenzanon 150 mm lens and Ilford FP4 film.

A simple dried flower arrangement captured by the fisheye lens. I composed the image to include the shadowy “ figures “ on the left and the vines leading into the scene from the right.

I used Sony’s 16mm fisheye attachment lens on the 28mm lens to get this different perspective at The Fo Guan Yuan temple. I like how it gathers all the elements into one image and the composition remains strong but also interesting.

Delicate focus, I used the plant foliage as a blurred frame and combined with the shallow depth of focus gives the little stone statue a “ different look “ Fo Guang Yuan temple in Christchurch captured by Sony a7iii and Fe28mm

A single white rose petal amongst raindrops on our garden bench seat. Thought it was a good subject for photography especially with the reflection. Bronica 75mm lens and 14mm extension tube.

A spider’s home, complete with water feature. I found this ( slightly) used water tap in Mona Vale garden in Christchurch. Bronica etrsi, Zenzanon 75mm lens and Ilford HP5 film and I developed the film myself.
