Besides the fall I took on my birthday, I had a great birthday weekend. My family and friends showed up for me, and I appreciate them so much. Now on to recovery. Definitely gonna be resting a lot this week

My birthday is also on Friday, party on Saturday… I’m gonna be even more of a mess this weekend since this is my first birthday without him 😔

There’s a part of me that wishes I could just make it all go away, snap my fingers and boom I don’t have to deal with emotions. I hate these bouts of sadness that occur. But then I guess I wouldn’t be human. I just have to stand in it and let it pass.

Also realizing that today makes 4 months since he’s been gone. He’s been on my mind a lot this week. There’s always a period where it’ll just hit me.

So today was kinda hard. Staff Development Day happened and it was in the library where my fiance used to work. During two of the sessions I partook in, grief was brought up. And then there was a moment of silence for him and another coworker that passed… needless to say I was a mess

Also nice to see the skins I paid for (or didn’t, thanks loot boxes) in matches.

I’m actually enjoying Stadium on Overwatch… having fun with it and I forgot there was a new hero added to the roster
