I left a Facebook Squier guitars fan group this morning bc it added an AI "feature." Why does a fan group need AI? The addition of AI is so completely unnecessary in arts or fandom. I dont get the fascination. Captain Planet would be so pissed.

In case you need to send this to some dingus the next time they bring up how using AI is fine + good, actually.

Say it after me: Chat GPT is not a search engine. It does not scan the web for information, it just generates statistically likely sentences. You cannot use it a search engine, or as a substitute for searching.

Now. Please never use an LLM for information searches ever again.
