idk how many of these I’ll end up listening to but the stories in the last wish are fun! tbh i really like the short story collection format, i love the feeling of geralt as a dude that’s just kind of wandering through other people’s stories. the narrator is also extremely talented, which helps.

to be solving the mysteries along with him, but i have zero contest for the polish folklore it’s drawing from.

based on the show and a little bit of the games i was expecting a lot more action in the books, but they’re generally slow, talk-y mysteries. geralt walks into a strange situation, sits down with someone and learns their story, slowly situation comes together. i also get the sense you’re supposed

in general if i like a thing that was based on a book and an audiobook exists i am making an effort to listen to it which has been an interesting exercise.

i’ve been listening to the first witcher audiobook and i like it but man yall weren’t kidding. these women are boobily breasting down the stairs.

my friend’s arabic teacher knows 3 sisters (19, 16, & 8) in gaza, their home recently buried under rubble.
