The Amazon and its wildlife, like jaguars and river dolphins, depend on both healthy forests and healthy rivers.

A new WWF-led study has mapped important shared spaces with high species abundance, helping scientists identify where roads and dams should NOT be built. 🐬

Earlier this year, work began in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to survey mountain gorilla numbers, offering vital insight into the status of this endangered species.
