If we get through this crap, I suggest we replace the president with a triumverate, each serving one 6 year term, staggered so they rotate a new one in every two years. 2/3 for most actions, unanimous for the most important.

The latter was what I was looking for. Thank you πŸ™‚

It should be noted that the ground was fertile for exploitation. It didn't have to be Gamergate, it was just an occasion that had the right variables to weaponize.

It's odd that Elon Musk's emulation of the Nazis stops short of creating reliable cars and rockets that get to their destination.

Not a Kendrick fan but even this old lady could see that there was powerful messaging going on in that show. The costumes, the choreography, Samuel Jackson as Uncle Sam, the β€œyou picked the right time but the wrong guy” call out with The Revolution Will Not Be Televised.

Trump Can't Disavow Project 2025 As the conservative policy created by the Heritage Foundation becomes more unpopular, Trump tries to distance himself from a plan that was drafted by his key advisors that is tailor made for Trump.

The US Senate just voted along party lines to confirm Russell Vought, the lead architect of Project 2025, as the next head of the Office of Management and Budget.

If you want to know where all of these crazy Trump ideas care coming from, it's this guy. shero.substack.com/p/trump-cant...

You may have missed this, but "Constitutional" isn't exactly a priority with the current administration.

What exactly can they do? There aren't bills to filibuster. Any move to put forth valid oversight will be met with laughter.

I'm all for then doing something, but what?

Right.

But when he was in power, not on his way out of the door, I remember them following orders.

And that's minus the changes in leadership and potentially rehiriing loyalists we're talking about.

I'm not in LitRPG yet, but I write... very weird things Sort of in the magical realism/urban fantasy/dude-what's-wrong-with-you space.

Would that fit?

He already did.

Did you forget the publicity stunt with the Bible?

Trump will do whatever makes him feel important and secure. If turning guns on the populace meets that description, it will happen while he tells the cameras "We had to do it, we had to do it."

Why do you doubt this?
