We intentionally seeded units into the set with multiple keywords for Morgan...but also because keywords are fun, and designer Joe O'Neil especially likes them! Finding cool ways to make keywords interact in new ways (such as Ambush/Restore) can make new cards feel fresh even w/ old tools #FFGStaff

With LOF being the first opportunity to get the High Republic into the game, I wanted Avar as a leader and Marchion as an exciting legendary unit. The designers then came up with "double all Raid" as a simple and evocative line of text, so we asked ourselves... how high could we go? #FFGStaff

Vernestra almost didn't change at all during development. One of cunning's features is "enters play ready" so that they can get immediate use from their units, so it was an easy first design for a Force payoff. It's always so satisfying when a card barely changes from its initial design #FFGStaff
