Palantir CEO Makes Shocking Confession on Disrupting Democratic Power They’re saying the quiet part out loud now.

"Palantir CEO Alex Karp says his AI technology will lessen the power of “highly educated, often female voters, who vote mostly Democrat” while increasing the power of working-class men."

Just saying it right out loud now.

Q: You just suggested Iran got a Tomahawk & bombed its own school. But you're the only person in your govt saying this. Even your defense secretary wouldn't say that. Why are you the only person saying this?

TRUMP: I just don't know enough about it. It's something I was told is under investigation.

IDF: Israel will target 'every successor' appointed by Iran | The Jerusalem Post "We want to tell you that the hand of the State of Israel will continue to pursue every successor and every person who seeks to appoint a successor," the IDF wrote.

They actually said they will target "every successor". Approval doesn't come into it. Apparently a country of 90 million shouldn't have a leader. And they call others terrorists ...

When it comes to ending elite impunity, the US could learn from the UK | Jan-Werner Müller British institutions can keep politicians somewhat in check. But in the US, shamelessness has become contagious

What and who enables elite impunity in the United States? and what explains the shamelessness?

This statement by Marco Rubio is a thing of beauty. No notes. It can be taken exactly as is and dropped into Orwell's 1984. I believe the correct Homeric adjective for military reasoning like this is "Hell-kissed."

Get thee to the Smithsonian, war crime-speak.

As a tiny country, international law is all we've got. It's not a lot but at least it's something.
Ireland fails to defend it at its peril.

“We cannot say that the United States’ actions are against international law, but we condemn Iran’s retaliatory actions as against international law,” is neither a coherent nor a compelling position.

If 150 schoolchildren were killed in a bombing *in* the US, it would be all anyone would hear about for weeks or months. Bit when 150 schoolchildren are killed in a bombing *by* the US, the headlines look like this:

The US killing one and hundred fifty school children in a single attack on Iran has apparently been universally decided to be a non story by the Western press. Not front page news, not in the highlights, instantly memory holed. Profession and institutions worse than worthless.

If someone blew up a school in America and killed dozens of kids, how would the US Govt respond? I think we all know the answer to that.

And is anyone asking how the hell they hit a school when they had all the time in the world to plan this? It wasn't exactly a volatile situation on the ground.

Did you know that homes pay twice as much for electricity as data centers do? It's good that that government are helping out the poor scrappy start ups like Amazon and Google 🥹

Israel has been dumping herbicides throughout southern Lebanon as part of a concerted ecocide campaign to render the region uninhabitable. This has been going on for months with Lebanese journalists & environmentalists regularly reporting on it.

Govt policy is that universities can overcome funding shortfalls by recruiting more students (especially international ones). But how are we supposed to do this if the students have nowhere to live, and the universities have no space in which to teach them?

Colleges to be asked to cut on-campus days to ease student accommodation crisis Government to ask third-level institutions to condense students’ time on campus to minimise the number of commuting days

Student numbers have increased dramaticaly without any corresponding increaase in physical facilities for teaching etc, making timetabling impossible... and now the Govt wants universities to condense timetables because of accommodation shortsges. Go figure.
