Yes and no! I agree that you need to be open and receptive so that when ideas happen you recognise them… but I don’t like implication that creativity is a passive process nor the idea it’s okay to just sit and wait for inspiration. Ideas are everywhere if you look, but nowhere if you don’t!

My main WIP has a dog in it. They're not a main character, but definitely a plot catalyst and will look great on the front cover! 🐕‍🦺🐾
