My email attaches them as if I need to print the email and cut them out!
De Zerbi
That should be the club motto
He’s seen them earn more out of his ow choice. He could have taken the money sooner but he decided not to.
Having a small squad makes the defence concede set pieces week in week out? Not sure I follow that rationale, especially when the defence hardly changes from one match to the next.
Failure to defend set pieces is a management failing, surely? Perhaps removing Dean Kiely was a mistake?
Palace are sooooo bad at defending set pieces.
That’s a bit unfair. The ST holders are hardly experienced in watching young players make their debuts (how may have there been in the last 10 years??) and I often hear criticism of Devenny and (less so) Canvot when they play.
@chicagopalace.bsky.social I’m in Chicago for the weekend. Where is a good place Downtown to watch the match please?
I can’t help but think this is all part of OG’s playbook. Blame the board; move on smelling of roses. It’s worked everywhere else.
Saw him playing with Wilf at Gala and he looked terrific. Similar to Munoz.
Kamada and Wharton were both susceptible to that when they first joined and neither struggle now. Fingers crossed Yeremy gets there sooner rather than later (I’m sure it won’t be a problem come the end of the season - he’s not soft).
Welcome back to London. It was great meeting you in the FF a couple of weeks ago. Enjoy the gig and the game while you’re here!
Nice try at deflecting from your blatant misogyny.
Was it ok when Gary displayed his Leicester bias?
He disrespected OG (refusing to fly to the US) and that’s something from which players can’t seem to come back.
I don’t see how Parish / Palace could force Textor to put his shares in a blind trust. Unless there was a suitable provision in the SPA and he refused in which case we will probably sue Eagle Holdings for negligence or breach of contract.
Does this mean Marinakis / Notts Forest are now in an MCO with Lyon??
They’ve sold out of small adult home shirts - even after the restock they sold out within 24 hours.
Is that Center Parcs? They’re pretty used to humans and much friendlier than in the wild.
Forest also missed the deadline!
I doubt it makes any difference to the legal position, but ultimately it’s people making the decision and anything which makes the current situation seem unfair is useful to us.
Interestingly, the article also says Forest didn’t comply by the March deadline either but they’ve been saved because they didn’t reach the same competition as Olympiacos.
Done! Great idea, thanks for sharing.
In an attempt to desperately grasp at straws, I had a look (with a lot of help from Gemini) at cases where CAS has overturned UEFA CFCB decisions and have managed to convince myself we might just stand a chance. So if you also know nothing about sports law and fancy being blindly optimistic 👇 #CPFC
If we win at CAS it will be because of “our ridiculous board structure”. That same structure also stopped Textor owning more and financially crippling us like he has with Botafogo and Lyon.
Where’s that quote from, Bobby?
I like to think most Palace fans can appreciate the injection of funds but also be frustrated/angry that his subsequent involvement in other clubs has caused the current mess.
We don’t know if Palace looked at this in February and concluded that Textor didn’t need to put his shares into trust and we didn’t need to complete UEFA’s paperwork because he doesn’t have control of Palace. That’s entirely possible. The fact UEFA disagree is obv unfortunate.
Didn’t he only own Palace at the time. The Belgian and Brazilian teams followed and Lyon was last. That’s my recollection anyway!
And on the very same day one of his other clubs got relegated. Hardly a ringing endorsement of his multi club model.
