Sorry for a lack of posting, my personal life is in turmoil due to my ex husband. I’ve been in court & dealing with cops as he has taken our child & kept her from school.

I still need & will continue to work on commissions but it may be slower than normal

The initial process is already 120, I cant even fathom how much more this will cost. So I made this goal to help me with where it goes from today

I'm currently leaving to the courthouse to fill the transfer of states paper & hopefully get a real idea of the costs (cont)

I then went to the courthouse to get custody, only to learn that in order to even start all of that: I need the case in our current state of maine

just to start, without legal help is just an extra bill we couldn't afford at the time (& still really cant)

but then he didn't want that & attempted to come take her from my home against her will

I called the cops and he was told that he would need to take me to court & they would not remove her

he relented and she was allowed to stay with me

cumulating in an altercation occurring between them at the start of this past summer, in which he ended up pushing her into a window ac shaker & after not wanting to deal with it sent her away to me & had been threating military school instead (cont)

This began our verbally agreed upon custody, I would get her every other weekend, holiday vaca & summer

the last 3 years have been a rollercoaster, with her constantly trying to stay with my full time

I was then paid 2k for the 6 months of feeding & helping all 3 kids go to school/lunches

I did nothing but be helpful & he was the same as he always was

but in the end all I've ever wanted was to be with my daughter, even if it meant an hour drive (cont)

naturally, despite moving all the way here to let our daughter be closer to me (after being assaulted); he HAD to move roughly 45 mins from me as, "it was too long of a drive for BF"

he found a fairly large place (way larger than he needed) around 40 mins from me (cont)

It took 6 months to sell/buy a house, during that time he had no job (didn't look for one either) & we footed the bill for 5 extra mouths w. a promise of money for it when the house sold

during that time, they decided that living in my town wouldn't work due to wher BF worked (cont)

naturally his focus was on the BF, he essentially moved him in to my house during the time he was here

(we were not fans but also didn't want him moving the kids into some strangers house after all that happened)

he had no job & had a complicated sale process due to still being married

To help with this, I let him & the kids stay w. me until he could sell his FL house and then find a house in town

He arrived single, and swore (for once) he was gonna focus on the kids. Then he was only gonna look for some fun

then enters his current partner 2 WEEKS after getting here (cont)

then about 3 years ago my ex moved in some of his "friends" & our daughter was assaulted by their child, in her home; in broad daylight

No reports made, no therapy or care for our daughter. Instead my ex sold his home & moved across the country to move closer to me (cont)
