Lounging on a Friday...What a life!

One of the folks from Sparta referred to Mt. Dew as a soda. This makes my heart sing to hear that after being picked on that Michiganders don't say that. Westsiders do!

Am at the most adorable no-tell motel in TC. I even have an actual key (!) for my room. But the most endearing part -- there's a bonfire pit out back & I'm hanging out with other guests (a couple from Sparta and a family from Chicago).

One of the lessons taught in any language course should be ordering meats and cheeses from the deli counter. Once again, I'm in a foreign country and nearly buy 1 kg of ham. 🤦🏾‍♀️

After a complete shit show day of delays & delays, we're actually on our way to Munich! Nice of Delta to give us $96 in food vouchers, overnight lodging, & an apology note. Hung out on the lounge for at least 10 hours total spread between yesterday (2 sessions) & today.
