A minor league hockey team had a wiener dog race. Zero thoughts, just vibes and absolute chaos. A thing of beauty

The Feds Targeted Charlotte. Now a Local Democrat Who Helped ICE Faces Voters. - Bolts North Carolina lawmaker Carla Cunningham voted to mandate compliance with ICE, and derided immigrants on the House floor. The Democrat faces an intense March primary.

JUST IN: North Carolina's Dem lawmaker Carla Cunningham gave the GOP the decisive vote to pass a law forcing police to comply with ICE. She said "all cultures are not equal."

She just lost reelection BIG in the Dem primary to a progressive pastor & activist, Rodney Sadler. 70% to 22%!

Uh no...we definitely realize it.

Congratulations. You harassed a married staffer until she submitted to your perversions leading to her suicide and still kept your job because the Republican Party stands for nothing except the acquisition of power. Congrats, Tony. bsky.app/profile/atru...

I guess Operation Epic Fury is better branding than Operation Please Stop Talking About Epstein or Operation Maybe This Will Help Me in the Midterms or Operation We'll Work Out the Details Later.

Personally, the biggest obstacle to book criticism (in addition to the loss of review outlets) is that I only want to read weird little books these days β€” and occasionally, weird big books.

When I like them, few outlets will care. When I dislike them, I don't have the heart to tell anybody.

Massie goes full beast mode today.

Gets on the house floor, shreds the DOJ and starts naming names from the Epstein files.

I’m sorry academics - if your book is selling for $50 on amazon, and isn’t on kindle, I’m not buying it, even if I can’t find it anywhere else. And if older than 20 years, put that shit on internet archive. Come on. If you want to be relevant you need to be accessible.

Thank you to Greenland for providing emergency medical care to a US sailor on board the submarine, since we did not have adequate resources in the area to treat him. I’m sorry that our president felt the need to cover up our shortcomings with a deranged ghost hospital ship post.

I just want to live in a country where the leader can’t enrich themselves with our tax dollars, the government does what the people want, and the wealthy have to follow the laws.

You know, like a democracy.

A male kestrel on a near-vertical bare branch. The background for the image is a uniform turquoise-colored sky. The bird's chin, cheek, and nape feature vertical stripes of white, black, and brown. The cap is gray. The mostly gray beak is short and quickly curves down to a sharp point. The back is reddish brown. The visible folded wing includes gray coverts and black primary feathers. The tail is tilted so that the underside is apparent; that side of the tail is white with black areas. The feet are brown.

A week or so ago, I posted a picture of a female American kestrel (Falco sparverius). Here's a male. Photo taken in the Rio Grande Bosque, Albuquerque on the morning of February 20, 2026, just before the storm rolled in.

I’m not so sure this is a winning message with Republican primary voters in FL, given what I know about the general behavior of FL Republican primary voters.
