Hey, it's OCtober!

I write a character-driven werid fiction/cosmic horror novel with modern political fantasy elements. I also draw. My characters are 24/7 on my mind and I will use every opportunity to show them to everyone.

My mom telling me she got gifted a sourdough starter has now sent me on a deep dive for figuring out how to properly care for it

I've never had a true sourdough starter so I'm kinda freakin thrilled (because I'm gonna eventually take some for meeeee)

It really has been a while since I last picked up a pencil to draw.

I look at some old sketches and can't physically remember how I did it.

But I know I did it once, so I look forward to doing it again~

Plus now that I'm waking up earlier and getting active sooner in the day, it's been jolting my brain awake so it's been getting (mildly) more productive!

I got a few pencil sketches for emote ideas once table is better arranged and I've got a few ideas for another story~

I gotta say, this new schedule is... rough hah

Waking up early to walk the dog and then move my car for alternate side parking is an interesting way to start my day but now that sleep schedule is adjusting itself to match, it's not as bad!

Wow this was a memory I never thought would surface again! I remember reading this so many time!

And that's a wrap for driving! I have arrived and unpacked and now I crash for the night!

That sure was an experience driving for so long <.< I'm ok with waiting a bit to do that again

But only like 650 miles left! Sleep now tho

Alright, 8ish hours of driving and 500 miles later I'm done for the day! Still about 1300 miles left but for now I sleep~

6 hours into the drive, just over 300 miles driven, still over 1400 to go~

Everything is packed, including computer so I'm just drinking tea to wake up in complete silence. Long drive ahead, totally terrified, but sort of excited. Gonna try and take pics of the drive whenever I stop though! Also, and emotional wreck but hey

It has sure been a few weeks huh >.>

Tomorrow I start my road trip, lots of thoughts on that one hah

But once I'm at my destination, I'm really aiming to focus on building something of my own!
