Part of the reason you may not find a Dem. Sen to do this is that they understand the depth of the power granted to the president by the Supreme Court. Trump could order a "Night of the Long Knives" purge and claim it's national security. All legal now. Trump will use this power. Biden won't.

I am a bit perplexed by the people talking about the resistance to Trump. I think everyone is in denial about exactly how much power and immunity our Supreme Court has handed to the incoming president. With it, he can violate all your rights and kill with impunity. People are underestimating this.

It sure does! My real hope is that unchecked power for the Republican party will cause them to expose themselves to their constituents in ways they can't hide. Hopefully the low information voters will figure it out when they get screwed over so hard they can't ignore it.
