Cable management is not my strength
Dusting off my Arduino bin for some students who are interested in "going there" with electronics & art. For a brief period I sort of knew what I was doing with the Arduino ecosystem, & had a lot of fun tinkering. It's exciting when students pursue things further than I might have the bandwidth for.
Clay printed vase by Brandon Berrett designed in our 'Digital Fabrication' course.
Left this cabinet lid open and now it is occupied.
Downloaded and printed a nice case for the Raspberry Pi 5 from: www.printables.com/model/742926...
Pleasantly surprised to see that PrusaSlicer runs really well on the Raspberry Pi 5
Happy about the computer to keyboard size and weight ratio here @duet3d.com
Thank you so much, I love those blocks!
For one of my clay printers, moving from 24v to 36v and upgrading the control board from the Duet2 to the Duet 3, which will then connect to the RaspberryPi. Will allow more power to reach the clay pushing motor and will make it easier to connect, add features like camera, remote monitoring, etc.
Further accessorizing this Raspberry Pi
I think I'm flattered that AI suggested watching *my own video* to learn about some technical challenges I'm working with.
Working with a Raspberry Pi 5 single board computer, which will become part of my clay printer's brain. I'm enamored with it's various tiny accessories, like this active cooling unit, which is about the size of a matchbox (banana for scale)

More little glaze batches. The more you test, the more ideas for additional tests you can have
Updating my clay printer designs again for a new body of work
Moving toward more color and less control. 'Cascade', glazed ceramic
'Surface 01' (from 2021) Animated line drawing depicting a slightly vibrating surface. Hand drawn and animated in #blender 200 frames, 720x720 px.
