My one weak link here is Human Torch since he's costly for what he does. He has to compete with the exodia squad to get played which is a hard sell. If anyone has any better suggestions for how slot, id be happy to hear it.

Since you need at least some extra energy to work for your big activate at the last turn, Luna and Jennifer Kale can supply you with the 7 energy to trigger Hulk, but Doom 2099 can make up for it and fill your board if you're missing him and supply Sunspot with all that extra energy instead

Of course you need good end of turn effects to trigger off of this. Sunspot and Hulk are the kings for raw stats, but Misty is cheap and easy to throw into a turn and Adam is surprisingly effective at taking a lane if you're behind.

The exodia set up here basically involves Invisible Woman or Jocasta in the front of any one location with progidy copying either of them, Jocasta if you're lucky with draw and timing. Multiplying your end of turn effects by an obscene number. I haven't quite gotten the math down for it yet

After another hiatus from Snap, I come back to End of Turn being a mainstay with support in Invisible Woman. Getting lucky with some new acquisitions like Jocasta and Prodigy and we figured how just how stupid we can be.

Its quiet silly but that's what you get when you decide you wont balance a monster collecting game based on PvP I guess LOL. If you're persistant enough, you can literally make any digimon you want a beast.

The game actually encourages this because some stat gains are kept between each evolution back and forth. The higher your bond percentage is with a digimon (how often you use them, talk to them, etc), the more you keep.

If you're really wacky, you can just make any Digimon maxed out in stats.

As you can see under where it says Digivolution, you're given silhouettes to kinda get an idea of what digimon you'll get which fills out a little if you see that specific digimon in encounters, but if you get something horrible that you hate, you can digivolve back to the previous stage.

Because of how Digivolutions work (you pick between multiple options based on what stats your digimon has to move into their next stage), leaning a digimon towards a specific personality can make it easier to target a specific Digimon you like.

For example, having my Ladydevimon be more caring gives her a self rez once in a battle which has been really clutch.

You can talk to your digimon partners throughout your adventure and depending how you answer their questions, you can influence their personality, which changes their stat growths and the chances they have for personality traits to show up, which gives them new passives in a fight.

I'll use my slow morning to talk a bit more about DSTS's under the hood stuff and how it takes familiar mechanics in Pokemon and tweaks them

They added personalities in this game as kinda their version on Pokemon natures, but they're also tied to personality traits which are like Pokemon abilities

And these two. Nefertimon is struggling to keep up currently so she might be swapped but Skullseadramon has been a surprise delight.
