Just saw this paper today (even though it was out yesterday😱) and it is super interesting and powerful that so much clinical data with predictive power can be extracted from one night of sleep data www.nature.com/articles/s41...

My syllabus clearly states that no extra points will be awarded and I stand by it. Students always ask, but the response is always no. At least in our university, teaching evals are submitted before the final grades are submitted, so faculty are not punished for their reluctance to alter grades.

On Monday AM, Sarvia Aquino will talk about how reactivating memories during sleep changes their neural representations (RR9). Also on Monday AM, I'll be presenting work showing that neural activation patterns expose affective processing during sleep, correlating with depression symptoms (DD11)
