Due to some lucky circumstances I now have 6 voice banks for Synth V (2 girls and 4 boys). Now to figure out what to do with this new found power, lol.

Trying to work out some audio issues still 💀 Playing around with Synth V, the newer more natural sounding alternative to Vocaloid. So far I'm liking it, but I need a few more voice banks for it. The quality is by far better though.

My issue with Vocaloid is I only have one decent male voice even tho the girls are generally fine. But it just does not go deep well. This brought to you after 2 weeks of audio hell trying to fix one voice to be tolerable. Maybe just put Damon in a pop group so it's only the same 3 singers 💀

I absolutely understand calling them that since that became what they were called, and there was a point you had to call webcomics webtoons so people knew what you were talking about (since it became the more known term). WT used to be good to creators in the beginning, now it's just about profit 😔

Yeah, that's how the shift happened online. It became the word to use for vertical scroll over page format since Webtoon was the first site to really utilize the format. But then by association it gave the site widespread name recognition for everything created in the format.

When webcomics shifted to being called webtoons instead, that's really when the downfall started. Because it associated everything to the corporation by the same name and gave them control over the whole industry.

Pretty much. The greed of corporations is using technology to edge out human beings for their own profit (leaving everyone else out in the cold and broke). It does not bode well for the future tbh as this is all escalating at a frightening rate.

I empathize with how they've probably had bad experiences in the past that have led to their situation, as there are so many unkind selfish people that will just ignore people, but still, it does no good to live in sheltered fear either. So often social anxiety is a term used to cover narcissism too

Thinking of taking my comics off Webtoon and Tapas since they're looking like they're going to devolve into A/I content farms only focused on paid content. Not really wanting to upload anywhere else either though, and my website isn’t 100% reliable (plus it costs $). Honestly, it all just sucks.

*invested in marketing. Also Kakao who owns Tapas is already doing the same with ai animations, so they're no better.

The main issue with the other sites is getting readers, since creators joining is usually no issue. There needs to be a lot of money invested in order to get readers though, which is how WT won out when it did. Definitely thinking of pulling my comics off of there tho.

Realized I could streamline the animation process for non action scenes by cycling an idle animation throughout and making adjustments ontop of it with animation layers.

I think at the time I wrote Ring Spell I wrote some things not understanding how they can be misconstrued within real world standards as I wrote it with a naive innocence as I am myself aro/ace and wrote only thinking about it in context of non relatable characters & fiction, and not the real world.

Soul Hymn is probably my fave comic of all the ones I've done so far. I'd change things in the others, but SH I'm pretty happy as is. Forsaken Boon may actually be second 😆 There's a lot in Ring Spell I don't really like anymore story wise, why the animated version I decided to just completely redo.
