Like I said, I’ve got a long journey ahead of me. To heal, to retrain thought processes and overall gain more confidence in myself. The last few years have fucked me up in different ways more than I care to admit. I’m trying my best to keep create despite despite despite.

It’s hard to promote and “market” my webcomics. It’s something I find myself slowly giving up on as I think I should let me online “presence” fade away. It’s weird cos I’ve given up on a lot these past few years that to give up on what my comics feels like the last failure. I don’t want to. :(

I hope I’m not a hopeless case. 😭

I’ve read as many storytelling guides as I could to help myself learn but in the end I just go by my vibes, what makes me happy and what I wanna see. Because of that I’m pretty sure I’ll never be a bestseller or being on reading lists and reach only a smol dedicated readership. I’m not for everyone.

Like I said, idk if anyone cares, but I can’t keep hoping/looking for a solution to come to me out here. I guess I’m just sharing this because one, I have no one to talk to, and two, to offer hope that you’re not alone if you’re going thru this. People get better together.

Operating under the assumption (or perhaps delusion) that nobody’s cares has made me believe that there is no point nor place for me here in the world. It’s taken a long time for me to learn that there won’t be if I don’t try. I’m just talking to the empty void rn but i hope someday that’ll change.

I’ve got a long healing journey ahead of me if I want to stick around, find my community and most of all find my own family. I’ve my hope and soul wither and slide away every day. It gets hard to wake up in the morning not feeling so blue. It’s gonna take time. All I have is myself. ;;;

It’s genuinely frightening seeing articles/videos that breakdown the health effects of isolation/loneliness prolonged over time. It calls out almost everything I’ve felt in the last few years especially recently. Breaking on my bday was a wake up call. Things have to change. But how??

The hardest pill to swallow recently is realizing the help I need to break me out of this self inflicted isolation I’ve lived in for so long I’ll never find out here. I have use what’s around me. It’s ironic tho, I have no one to call for help to push/pull me out. I have to put myself back together.

I dug up my old 2005 first generation iPod nano, charged it, and found some old 3.5mm headphones and tried it and holy crapola it WORKS. Decent sound, crappy battery life, nostalgia overload. 👍

The longer I live here the more my accent comes out to the point where i just sound like this again. I guess that’s living in the motherland will do to you. Make me have to consult the English dictionary in my head as I search for my words lol. No way I’m going back I don’t feel like being kidnapped

I’m incredibly grateful of the readership I’ve built, on Tapas I’ve reached 439 subs which is def a lot. This doesn’t represent active readers weekly tho which has greatly reduced over time. Despite my best marketing efforts I’m not connected nor engaging enough to really reach out there. Am shy. ;;
