The strange thing Iโve learnt from my almost 8 years of making comics is thatโฆ I donโt think Iโm enough. Not by myself. It crept up on me in recent years and I wonder if itโll go away or if itโs something I need to get used to. Idk maybe itโs the isolation. It can really screw up your brain. ๐ง

Maybe life is just a liminal space. Despite not feeling that way until 2021 or so that things can be soโฆ emptyโฆ even tho obviously itโs not but you know isolation can play tricks with your mind. And itโs been a long slow slog to get back. I know Iโm not alone. But Iโm the only one here in my space.

So I just wait for it to pass, not fight it but just accept and move on. Takes time. Sometimes thereโs tears. Sometimes itโs lying down in a ball. I wasnโt always this way. It comes and goes and when it hits hard I tend to self isolate, go nonverbal and try my best to hold it together.
