It is! It's been fun watching this thing over the past few years since I put it in. I basically live on top of a fault right now, so it gives some interesting insight into how the earth moves.

The earthquake in Russia was detected on the little Raspberry Pi-powered seismograph in our crawlspace. It was detectable for almost three hours!

They also filmed scenes for another episode at the DLCC, which stood in for a (really weird looking) airport.

It's on Roku Channel now for free, though, and I was able to find the scene we saw being shot! (s1e5)

So the thing filming at the DLCC today reminded me that @freezebadger.bsky.social and I walked past something filming downtown during AC back in 2017. A series called "Gone" that NBCUniversal produced, but aired on weird cable channels (WGN America iirc) in the US, so not many people saw it.
