Campos Racing's Alisha Palmowski dominated practice and then qualifying for the first round of the F1 Academy season at the #ChineseGP, claiming her maiden pole by 0.4s over Alba Hurup Larsen.

Cadi Baptista has joined Xcel Motorsport in GB3.
The 18-year-old Brazilian scored in a Euroformula cameo last year, came 10th in Brazilian F4 with one win, made two Spanish F4 outings and a FWinter Series cameo.
He began 2026 in FRegional Oceania, coming 18th in the standings.
🇲🇾🇹🇭 Formula 4 South East Asia's 2026 calendar has been updated.
Last month round four at Sepang moved from August 21-23 to July 24-26, and now round three on Bangsaen's street circuit has been turned into an invitational event.
That leaves four points-paying rounds, three of which are at Sepang.
The grid for USF Pro 2000's season opener on the new Arlington street circuit has grown to 14 cars with a few days before racing gets underway, but three of the new signings are set to be Arlington-only entries.

Miron reduced Antonio Pizzonia's points lead, starting with taking pole while Pizzonia was sixth in his qualifying group.
But he recovered to win two heats, as Miron won three, then took pre-final B victory after Miron was a penalised 19th in PFA. However ninth in the final cut the gap again.
The OK Junior final began with a nine-kart crash and long red flag period.
At the restart, Gioele Girardello and Daniel Miron Lorente moved up to first and second then broke clear. They only began fighting on lap 12, which briefly put Matvei Dergunov in the lead before Miron cemented himself ahead.
Calleja won two heats and pre-final A, and Manach won pre-final B in which a conrod failure for Krutogolov set his lowly final grid spot.
Luke Kornder topped his qualifying group, won three heats but retired from his pre-final and finished the final in 20th.
Benjamin Manach dominated the OK final in WSK Super Master Series round four. Poleman William Calleja lost two spots on lap one, got past Jindrich Pesl mid-race but was then sent off in a pack fight. Valerio Viapiana snatched second, and Lev Krutogolov charged from 17th to third.
🇳🇿 Marco Manson sealed the South Island FFord title at Ruapuna last weekend by taking pole and winning all four races, bringing his victory tally for the season up to 17.
Dylan Petch, who borrowed a Spectrum 015 for the event, was fourth in each race to be championship runner-up.
Van Langendonck won again in race three, taking the lead with a last-lap double pass to clinch the Formula Winter Series crown with a round to spare.
