The first release was packed in an open box. The chest plate would be easy to remove and steal. Even though this release is a sealed bubble, they kept the packaging method.

Looking at my copy, there just isn't much movement in those side flaps. It's more of a slide around motion than pulling them out and away from the body.

Do you mean coming off during transformation or just not tabbing in securely? They seem a bit vague in robot mode, from what I remember the couple of times I messed with mine. Not an upsetting amount, just not a satisfying click or anything.

There were some clever bits to the transformation. I was able to work through it without instructions so still intuitive.
