Xcel Energy truck showed up 45 minutes ago saying they need to upgrade the transformer and we'll be without power for 2 hours. We were only told because the block's transformer is in our backyard and they needed access. We weren't told, neighbors weren't told.

Gas and electric bill went from $91 in October to $236 in November. Main difference between those months was that in November, it snowed several times and the the heater constantly turned on and off. Today we blow insulation into the ceiling in hopes that will not be a regular occurrence.
