hi, I worked in indie games for 10 years and sorry, they're also burning down. you just don't hear about it because it doesn't make the news when a studio of 19 lays off 7, even when it's 200 small studios doing that

I mean, it's a lot easier to make remake run on a last-gen console because the structural design sensibilities are oriented around much less processing power. you get into things like size of contiguous areas, etc. But I feel you; I finally got a PS5 mostly because my PS4 from 2015 was dying hard
