Seeing Queens in the ASUN championship, my first instinct is that it’s Queens College of NY.
But this being the ASUN, of course it’s not. The places are all made up.
Queens isn’t in New York, and Jacksonville isn’t in Florida.

I definitely remember 1998 because it was the one I covered as a journalist. They won day 1 and lost day 2.
OK! 2005 - lost to Baylor as a 3-seed.
1997 was also right — the inaugural Big 12 Tournament. I remembered playing 1-seed KU; I thought it was in the final, but it was the semi. Beat them and lost to Colorado in the Final.
K-State winning the league solo in 2007-8 and losing their first game of the conference tournament? That was fun. 😑
Know what I have *zero* recollection of? 2009-10 Nebraska being an absolute wagon and going through the regular season undefeated.

I’m sure I’m missing something. But I don’t remember #KStateWBB even making the Big 12 Tournament final, except maybe in 1997 vs. KU. Maybe during the Ohlde/Wecker years? Not the past 2 years when they were quite good. It’s kinda remarkable.
