and orchestral grandeur interchange with introspective guitar or rhodes parts. Very seldomly some beautifully recorded drum beats appear, but when they do they kick ass - just to fade away the next second to give way to the crackle of another field recording.. (2/3)
I'm absolutely blown away by this album by Khaled Kurbeh. I have seldomly heard music that's so spontaneous, thought-out, reduced and impactful. There's a tranquility, and deep brooding passion to it at the same time - electroacoustic compositions made of synth impros, playful rhythmic gestures(1/3)
