No, they felt the sharp "pop" of the faster Primary wave (P-wave) arrive a few seconds before the Secondary wave (S-wave) and surface waves generated by it arrived.

We have seismic instrumentation and we're not afraid to talk about them.

To no one's surprise, we like rocks.

This highly pronounceable and mostly visible mountain is Buachaille Etive Mòr and is located in the Highlands of Scotland.

These are some really old rocks from the Cambrian and Precambrian periods which were then elevated during the later Caledonian Orogeny.

The Glasgow Observatory enables research and innovation in mine water thermal energy. That means they look into water that floods historical abandoned coal mines and is heated geothermally.
