I asked ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude Haiku (via Copilot) for minimal working code for Qdrant.

None of them could generate working code successfully. They kept suggesting non-existent modules, attributes or arguments.

Vibe coding? Are you serious?

I have switched to Brave at work, because Atlassian software (Jira and Confluence) are catastrophic on Zen Browser.

But I still hate the caching behaviour of Chromium-based browsers๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ

DVC Joins lakeFS: Your Questions Answered! โ€“ DVC They say all good things must come to an end, and certainly weโ€™ve seen it before with open source projects. But sometimes, itโ€™s not the end, just time to

> lakeFS has acquired the DVC open-source project from Iterative.ai.

Wow! I've just realised that.

How uv got so fast uvโ€™s speed comes from engineering decisions, not just Rust. Static metadata, dropping legacy formats, and standards that didnโ€™t exist five years ago.

Ah, uv ignores setup.py and several legacy things. This explains a lot.

I've got a MacBook. Of course, I have to install Python on it.

Which way is the best? The official binary, homebrew, pyenv, mise or ... ??

Because I might use several python versions, pyenv or mise are the best options.

(uv is currently not an option for me, because we do not use it.)

I implemented a small very clean and beautiful class for my ML task.

I realized later that I didn't need it. So I have to delete it ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Perplexity, Amazon .com, Signal all down (just 3 services I tried to use)

When aws-us-east-1 sneezes, the whole world feels it indeed

I posted a question on one of the Stack Exchange sites. A user answered my question, and I picked it as the best answer. This was about a decade ago.

A few days ago, the question was closed. The reason is that the quality of the question does not meet the guidelines.

Why now? It's just annoying ๐Ÿซค

OK, I can skip the trial.

But the "start free trial" button at the top right stands out and is slightly annoying ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Why does Python have a limit on the number of static blocks that can be nested? The number of statically nested blocks in Python is limited to 20. That is, nesting 19 for loops will be fine (although excessively time consuming; O(n^19) is insane), but nesting 20 will fail with:
