Like many other Iranian Americans, I spent much of yesterday glued to my phone.
In the evening, however, I spontaneously volunteered to man a "bluegrass petting zoo" for a few hours at an opry in Kenmore, WA. It was delightful to see people of all ages interact with instruments for the first time.
Both of these roles are based in Renton!
Another year, another #Wintergrass!
Last February, I was too shy to play with other musicians at this festival. This year, however, I formed a jam circle with other members of the Outlanders Progressive Bluegrass Social Club along with a few spontaneous recruits!
It was really special.
Some of the positions were replacements for existing roles. I used to be the team's manager, for example, and two team members were promoted to senior last year. Other roles are new!
We are always trying to improve the experiences we create for fans. There are many exciting things on the horizon. 🌞

D&D themed cake I made for my kid. Chocolate cake, chocolate mousse filling, chocolate cremeux, American buttercream. I had way to much fun with the burnt sugar flames.
The Halloween episode also stands out in my mind as one of the best holiday specials I've seen. It was so cool seeing the animators unleash some of their creativity through Ed's TV vision.

As tens of thousands across America protest the violence that ICE sows with impunity, federal agents shot and killed another person in Minneapolis today. ICE terrorizes our cities. ICE puts us all in danger. Abolish ICE.
The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.

I summoned the courage to attend my first bluegrass jam this week. I learned a lot and plan to return. The best part? There was a bluegrass dog! The woofs and boofs were quite musical.
These artists, designers, doers, and imagineers generously lend their talents to create memorable experiences for fans around the world. In this role, I'll lead the Game Design Team to bring players together, meet them where they are, and empower them to tell unforgettable stories with each other. ❤️
No other game can rival the profound impact that D&D has had on my life, and I'm honored to continue paying that forward in this new position.
However, like every great D&D story, no adventure can be completed alone! Each day, I work alongside some of the best and brightest in the games industry.
