Charlie Kirk, for all his faults, supported the Jews. Calling him a fascist, to me, wreaks of anti-semitism. Charlie was pro-Capitalism. Fascism is anti-capitalism. Be weary of anyone calling Charlie a fascist. It’s these types of people that eradicated my family in Europe.

I don’t think you know how the law works

The roommate is cooperating with the FBI and police. Someone doesn’t want to go to jail.

It seems to me Bluesky is full of people who demand group think rather than those who are genuinely curious.

I disagreed with Kirk more than I agreed with him. But he always appeared to be a man of principle, belief, and family ties. I think that is why I am bothered the most by his death. Those who celebrate, I pray for their children, that they don’t inherit the same lack of empathy.

After the rise of anti-semitism post-October 7, I’ve become a staunch anarcho-Zionist. All governments are immoral and have a monopoly on violence. However, Jews should definitely all flock to Israel’s biblical homeland and obtain the land in a pacifist way (like purchasing it, even above market).

As an ethnic Jew, I’ve never liked Israel identifying as a Jewish state. I much prefer its identity being secular, mainly because antisemites would use it as justification to attack Jews who have nothing to do with the nation of Israel. 1/2

I haven’t been on social media hardly at all. It’s been pretty nice.

I will never understand impotence signaling on the left, like I will never understand impotence signaling on the right.

This increases the risk of not probating the codicil, since it is a separate document from the will, and may not be located with the will and no one else knows about it. Therefore, I redo the entire will to reflect those changes.

Seeing posts with people’s legal opinions with no legal background is about as painful as watching a fundamentalist comment on a biblical scholar’s peered reviewed article.

Gödel is by far my favorite mathematician, although I’m not one. If I recall correct, Einstein believed him so brilliant, he would often walk with him just to learn from him. And of course there is the Gödel Ontological Proof!
