PANEL 1
Setting: the Helldiver Superdestroyer "Spear of Dawn" is entering upper atmosphere, still orange with heat from reentry. Two smaller Craft flying from out of it's side over a vast orange planet.

HARLON over comms- "Alright, we're kissing atmosphere, but we're over the coordinates of that beacon. Shipmaster Martinez has informed me that we have 10 minutes before the Automaton's Orbital Picket Force can catch up to us, and with the fleet. PELICAN-10, EAGLE-13, you're clear for launch. Get to that beacon... and get Dolaan out of there."

PELICAN-10 & EAGLE-13 simultaneously: 10-4.

PANEL 2
Setting: Background of the smaller craft EAGLE-13 (A sleeker, more nimble craft with 4 wings in a 't' shape, and red markings across it) & PELICAN-10 (A blockier, thicker dropship style craft with green markings) plunging through the atmosphere. The clouds are getting thick and darker with oily smoke.

PELICAN-10 over comms- "PELICAN-10 to SPEAR-ACTUAL. Sir, I'm getting smoke up here, and it's playing havoc with my sensors! My instruments are still locked onto the beacon, but I'll be landing blind if this doesn't clear up, OVER!"
EAGLE-13 over comms- "Copy PELICAN-10. EAGLE-13 confirms PELICAN-10 report. An eagle never misses, but this smoke is getting thicker as we get lower. SPEAR-ACTUAL, do you have eyes down there? I'd hate to go through all this trouble just to drop a crowd pleaser on our VIP, OVER."
HARLON over comms- "NEGATIVE, EAGLE-13, we have no eyes on target, but we still have signal lock and we'll give you what we know of the location, OVER."

PANEL 3
Setting: EAGLE-13 & PELICAN-10 plunging through the atmosphere, as viewed from the side with Eagle-13's fighter closer to the viewer, giving a better look at it's nose mounted gatling gun, and the red markings, including a the words "LUCKY 13" next to a red spade.

HARLON over comms- "Extraction zone has been ID'd as E-710 Refinery G-37-C. PELICAN-10, your LZ is dead center, on a raised platform seven meters above the ground with limited clearance. Make approach from the NorthNorthWest, Heading 333. Expect heavy enemy presence and hostile Triple A. Confirm, Over."
PELICAN-10 over comms- "PELICAN-10 to SPEAR-ACTUAL, that's Solid COPY, Over."
EAGLE-13 over comms- "EAGLE-13 to SPEAR-ACTUAL, what about this smoke? If I'm making runs near gas tanks, I need to see where I'm aiming, Over."
HARLON over comms- "SPEAR-ACTUAL to EAGLE-13, Spectral analysis says the smoke is burning E-710, so the tanks are already burning. Risk of secondary explosions should be low. If Gentry calls in a run, give him what he asks for, Over."
EAGLE-13 over comms- "EAGLE-13, hell yeah, Over."

HARLON over comms- "Whatever the hell is going on down there-"

PANEL 4
Setting: Background of a burning refinery from below, with a roaring inferno casting everything into oily blackness and hellish red and orange light. Silhouetted, Gentry strides from the flames, ragged cloak wavering, dragging the body of an automaton by it's arm, battered and broken, menacingly. In the foreground is an Automaton Hulk, watching as Gentry menacingly strides towards it.

HARLON over comms- "-somebody is still fighting."
