Nottingham Forest become the first football club to ever win three successive penalty shoot-outs in three consecutive rounds of the FA Cup (4th, 5th and 6th round) - and they are going to Wembley for the semi-final.
Ally McCoist’s little “there’s a ball for ye” comment when MGW sprayed that ball 50 yards to Hudson-Odoi is one of my favourite pieces of commentary ever. A perfect bit of foreshadowing. Excellent little interjection hinting at something to come, and my word, it sure did!
One of those mornings where you wake up and take stock of the miracle we’re witnessing right now
Sat with a cup of tea on the garden, basking in the sunshine, thinking about how #NFFC just beat the PL champions to remain in third with 10 games to go
We must soak-up every remaining second of this!
you’re fired. wait you’re rehired. email us a list of things you’ve done today wait forget it you’re fired again. come back your job was important. you’re fired. or hired. come in to the office. wait the office has no computers go home. we are the department of government efficiency.
Evil just “wants it more” than good does right now. Taking this game by the scruff of the neck, they are.
For anyone keeping score, the world is full of evil, nothing good is possible, cheats and liars always prosper, and if you have kids, tell them to be as dishonest and horrible to other people as possible. It’s really serving a lot of people quite well at the minute.

Sometimes when my Men’s Mental Health plunges through the floor. I just like to listen to absolute nonsense. Just the absolute pinnacle of shit-talking. Nothing has ever been less coherent and it’s the most reassuring thing going.
We could cure Men’s Mental Health overnight if we just binned off this utter shite…
5 out of the top 7 lost this weekend.
If there was ever a good time to lose a game (which there isnt!) this was it.
Plus the 2nd half stats showed that we can play a different way.
#positivity
One thing I’d say here is that AFD were polling at 24% about 12 months ago. Big if, but if they stay sub 20, that might actually indicate a reverse in support. They are definitely down since Musk’s intervention, if this holds true…
Against Arsenal, we need the right mentality and we need it from minute one.
With my gaffer’s cap on here, Forest should look to be a little counter-intuitive and get forward early on, take a few risks, put Arsenal on the back foot, and hunt down that early goal. Don’t break our stride…
Momentum is the biggest thing in football. To me, that 1st-half no longer exists.
What does exist, however, is that 2nd half. We pinned an extremely good side in their own half for 45 minutes and scored twice.
Pick up from there on Wednesday, finish what we started today, and we’re laughing! #NFFC
Question for America:
Why are you just letting this loser do all this? World’s biggest dork and he’s just giving you the runaround…
Have none of you considered giving him a wedgie? Or flushing his head down the toilet? Would sort him right out.
Think a few years ago I made a case for backfilling America. I’d like to now make this case again…
Just park loads and loads of lorries on the Canadian and Mexican borders and have them tip a load of absolute shite off. Might take a few trips but reckon we could do it.
Wouldn’t be bothered if it was Nottingham and we still had Milenkovic, it’d be getting headed back to where it came from
When they find out which city this asteroid is gonna clart, they should do the draw like this…
Something bizarrely comforting about watching this asteroid’s chance of an earth collision rise by the day. Arguably one of the lighter news stories of 2025…
Jeez I think you need a bit of energy for an insurrection so I’m not your guy. Tbf looked at my three idiot cats this morning and realised that they are absolutely the reason I’ll never let the bastards *fully* grind me down. Fulham (A) on Saturday will be just the tonic, as well!
Hardened news writer/journo - but just feeling incredibly bleak about literally everything
World’s run by absolute tosspots and nothing is getting better. Would lose my job if I spoke honestly about certain individuals (same ones who hate cancel culture, lol). And that’s how the bad guys win, baby!
For the second game in a row, The Gedling Inn have a run a free pint offer involving Forest. And, for the second game in a row, they’re having to foot the bill…
Have to absolutely admire the commitment #NFFC have to bankrupting this local, independent pub.
Man, never got down there! Never made it to Sat Bains either but that’s one I want to tick off soon. BRB just doing a quick remortgaging…
Sat Bains kept its two, Alchemila kept one. Nice to see Raymond’s listed under the “good cooking” section too. Also, nice drive out to Jericho which has a earned a lesser-spotted Green Star!
When does the news drop my friend? Will be keeping a beady eye out (alongside ball 15 in the FA Cup draw)
Crying. Elon doing nothing to stop Kanye from posting the most awful and insane pro-Nazi shit on Twitter in the last 24 hours - then gets absolutely shafted by him.
Hopefully this will help a few more folk put two and two together…
We need to ban Americans from saying “twat”. There’s no “O” in that word. The harsh ‘ah’ sound in the middle is integral to the whole thing.
Don’t say it if you can’t say it…
Still very much miss #SoccerAM on the box every Saturday. I recently found their old, defunct website - which gives a summary of every episode between 2004-2007.
Has it aged well? Erm…
Literally that’s it mate. Good to keep the social and office aspect and I’d be in more often if I was nearer. But home for me and many, many others is a more creative space. I also work longer at home due to time saved on the commute - so stick that up your GB News comment section
How it feels to receive a good appraisal at work when you have a terminal case of imposter syndrome…
I #WFH 90% of the time and commute to London 2/3 times a month. Today I received a glowing appraisal, a year after my last one. I’m now getting to lead in an area I’m passionate about and interested in.
The UK doesn’t have a Work From
Home problem. It does, though, have a Bitter Saddos problem.
