When there is a lack of leadership, people step up. And we are seeing it again. No, you're not perfect, there will always be things to learn, and you will do it "wrong" by someone's standards. But do it anyway. Host the event, talk to your neighbors.

After 2016 we saw a new type of ground swell. New groups popped up like Indivisibles or other grassroots local organizations. Folks hosted rallies and protests, more candidates ran the next cycle than before.
