The recent BBC adaptation wasn't perfect but it was okay. I quite like the FOX series even though it's very, very different from the source material.

I have no words. Only disbelief.
This movie gave me what I can only describe as a 'compound headache'. The editing, the script, the narrative, and the performances all combined to bludgeon me psychologically.

War of the Worlds? Sure. When it was finally over I felt like I had survived...something.

They lay it in forks between branches it seems. I'm learning a lot during avian August!

Apparently the babies need big, well developed feet because the parents don't build nests! They just lay egg on branch...

Just thinking about the time when I was 8 yrs old, sitting on a chair in my own home with my legs apart (I was wearing shorts) and a friend of my mom who was visiting scolded me for sitting wrong and that it wasn't 'lady-like'. I was a child and an adult woman was policing how I should sit.
