A lot of who I am today can be traced back to pokemon x. Even if the quality of x and y is… debatable, there’s no denying it had an impact on me. So hell yeah. It’s good to be back where it all started.

I wouldn’t have literally called myself gen6B if it didn’t mean anything more to me than being just a game I liked as a kid. It was one of the main things that got me into video games as a whole. Without it I wouldn’t have gotten into UTDR. Without UTDR I wouldn’t have progressed as an artist.

Generally I don’t like to be nostalgic. I’m usually not one to gush about references and callbacks. But you know what, I’ll make an exception for this. Pokemon X and Y is genuinely really important to me. It’s nice to have a full circle moment like this

Ok last hope before the trailer drops tomorrow: Even if it makes no sense I hope they find a way to fit a remix of the power plant/pokeball factory theme in mega dimension

Seriously you can’t set the game in the city where their gym is located, and then have said gym get destroyed, only for their only acknowledgement to be in random missable npc dialogue. They have to be saving them for the dlc that’s the only way that can make sense

-Suspicious lack of a gym battle remix in the base game

-Dlc story can only be accessed after the main story is completed, which is after you know what happens

-Dlc’s main advertising “mascots” are two counterpart electric type megas
