2) the long lines are a direct consequence of the conspiracy-driven policy changes brought forward by the UCP government (and not your beleaguered election workers); be kind

This is STILL bad vaccination policy.

They are openly stating this unadvertised survey will be used to guide the number they order and reduce wastage - ie to order less vaccines.

Responsible spending would be to order WAY MORE and have a robust communications & outreach program to boost vax rates.

Good news: clarified message.
Bad news: here’s the message
“Pre-ordering for the 2026–2027 immunization season starts on Sept 29 and ends Dec 15. Pre-ordering helps secure vaccines, reduce wastage, and support responsible spending. Albertans can still book next year if they don’t pre-order.”

Got off the plane and walked into a drug store in Ottawa and got my COVID vaccine in under 5 minutes. No line up. No appointment. No cost.

Was even asked if I wanted Moderna or Pfizer.

It’s unconscionable that we can’t get this same level of service in Alberta.

🚨 This is inexplicable news to share. If in Alberta and you want flu and covid shots for NEXT year (2026-2027), you have only until December 15 of THIS year to order them.

This is not incompetence. It’s a deliberate choice to prevent as many people ..

This is the first publicly released polling on Alberta education issues from a professional pollster in a while, and the results are super interesting.

ARI poll suggests contract dispute support for teachers: 58%
Support for AB govt: 21 %

Seconds after proposing a "complexity cap" instead of addressing class sizes, Smith was asked what that means...

Her response?

"I don't know"
