I SWEAR is so good! Great mix of hilarious and emotional. Robert Aramayo gives an absolutely brilliant performance (his Scottish accent is spot on!), with Peter Mullan, Maxine Peale and Scott Ellis Watson (younger John) fab too. Great Q&A incl the real John Davidson after.

Kicked off Edinburgh Fringe with new Hannah Moscovitch play RED LIKE FRUIT at the Trav. Really great, interrogating sexual assault and sexual harm and personal perceptions thereof. Challenges the audience, makes them subtly complicit - you're asked what you feel/believe, and why.

I love when we get a wee peek at making off/BTS stuff. S3 production has felt quiet so far, all behind closed doors, so good to know they're cooking!

I didn't fully take that as confirmation of it not happening though, they all have competing versions of events. I could see the tone/vibe of it being different than her account though. But him stopping her leaving had such a material impact on what she did next, would seem odd to remove it entirely

I know they'll add more, and I was too casual about checking, but still seems wild that the first 70mm BFI IMAX screenings for The Odyssey are already sold out. OVER A YEAR IN ADVANCE! 😆

The first time I watched The Newsreader, after both seasons of IWTV, I was literally pausing it every few minutes to marvel and wonder how the hell Dale was the same person!

So glad that Filmhouse has reopened in Edinburgh, it's been missed. Cinema Paradiso on the big screen as their opening film was fab.
Remembered the last thing I saw there before they closed... eps 1 and 2 of S1 on The Rings of Power! Mad to think (also, pls do some S3 in cinemas Amazon!)

It's such a stretch! No denying there are humerous parts, and a lot of dark comedy underpinning some tense moments, but I feel even that got less and less each season. Wouldn't be so much an issue if it didn't keep winning comedy categories against some proper funny shows!

I think they have to solve the mystery of how time zones work first though, by the looks of things! 😆
