Yeah, I had liked what bit of it I had actually played. The vanilla was a bit of a mess (I somehow made Penelo a god? lmfao) and that version seemed far more balanced out.

I have Zodiac Job System on PS5 or whatever, which...I've never played that version, but I think I got Metaphor and just got distracted by that, lol

Now I want to play that game again lmfao. I started and then got distracted by...something else.

Vaan's only flaw with me is that He's a FF protagonist-like character and I'm usually never a fan of them, lmfao. Like outside of like Clive, I've never clicked with the main 'hero'. Otherwise, Vaan did no wrong and he has his role in the game

which is also what I like about the game. People saying Vaan doesn't belong or adds nothing to the story is just ridiculous though. One of his main roles is literally being the witness to everything that's happening.

The thing is with 12 is that it doesn't necessarily have a main protagonist in the typical FF way. Like everyone has a role in the story and it isn't just focused around a single character. While Vaan (and Ashe) may be intended to be the protagonists of the game, it doesn't make it feel that way,

leaned that way with her, lol. That entire game is sort of 'muted' compared to other FF games if that makes sense. Vaan was very much a mainline FF character while everything else was Tactics.

I'm not sure how to explain with Vaan, but the other characters felt...grounded? And Vaan didn't feel that way but maybe that was just the intent with him. I started off not liking Bosch or Balther either but I ended up liking both. As for Penelo, she does feel that way and I've always
