Annual reminder that the only schools that go to the play-in should be at large teams. If you get the auto-bid, you should play in the real tournament.

If you have cable, you might be able to watch on the NBC app. I don’t have Peacock, but the app let link to watch curling that wasn’t otherwise televised.

Enjoyed following along, especially being a winning trip. I like that corner Keno strat and will be trying it out in February.

I think I read that years ago. Good read if I remember correctly.

But aren’t they aware you are in the middle of a job search? Maybe better said in a live conversation vs email though?

I would call or email following up. It shows interest. I wonder if you can slip in some blurb about how your are progressing with another opportunity so you’d like to have some clarity on a timeline (I’m not tactful enough to figure that one out tho!).

I’ve found recently that Sam’s is a much better shopping experience than Costco. They don’t check membership at the door anymore and they have Scan and Go on the app where I can walk out with out going to a register or having to show my receipt.
It also seems less crowded but that is anecdotal.

I mean, it basically boils down to being a carbonated version of an Arnold Palmer, right? I’d guess if you like the sweet version of those, you’d like this.

This is truth. Ours has a Reese’s sundae that approximates one I got at Braun’s in OK back in the day but $8.50+ for the size just seems like a lot.

How are you collecting? eBay or estate sales? I have maybe 5 or so that I inherited but that’s the only way I’ve gotten them.

We have a variety pack of minis at work with regular, dark and white. The regular is the best by far.

I will say if they ever bring back the ‘Elvis’ minis, I would be all over those…

I had a taste of the strawberry. It was fine, I wouldn’t choose it over a traditionally (or even one if the pretzel or potato chip versions).

Ha, I mean don’t keep it too long but if you are close I think it’s okay…

Is it a hard copy? If you are close, you can keep it a few days extra…

I had the spring cotton candy flavor at Costco this weekend. Do not recommend.

The honey dipper discussion at the end was great. Haven’t laughed that hard in awhile.

I learned that lesson after my second professional job. There are some exceptions but if you weren’t seeing a person outside of work before, you won’t once you (or they) are gone.

My guess is that it also makes people feel good to be remembered. I know whenever I run into former coworkers (or anyone from my past), I’m always pleased when they know me.

Or ‘why is this here so quickly, pre-made?’

I don’t know if I’ve ever heard it as a present tense, though they are pretty loose with spanagrams being phrases instead of words as well.
