It never ceases to amaze me how much she is despised for her actions but still keeps winning elections due to that R beside her name regardless of her actions🤦‍♂️

Any commercial being shown in support of Susan Collins is dark money financed and preys of the bigotry and ignorance of Mainers as it has been proven that this tactic works. Currently they are all pro Susan but once the primary is over they will all be anti whoever and design to scare you.

Only when they can readily demonstrate the answer to this question: “Now that you know better than to make these types of decisions based on a series of 15 second TV ads, or a single source of “ news” information, or a social media meme, how do you not make this same error in the future?”

I’ve been tracking the CBP data logs of passenger vehicles and passengers crossing into Maine from Canada at the 5 major border crossing locations. All are down between 25-32% on vehicles and 30-38% on passengers. Trucks are also down an average of 7%

Yup, I transferred from the field to the factory for one of the big ones in 1999. Multiple agreements for knowledge transfer and production capability investments with foreign manufacturers. LCC (low cost country) was the big buzzword at the expense of many domestic small businesses.

Anyone who has worked in manufacturing the last 35 years knew this would happen. The company I worked for imported about 70% of our raw materials and virtually 100% of our hardware. US suppliers simply don’t exist.

Mainers will not elect Janet Mills to replace Susan Collins. She can’t draw enough of the swing voters. Many (myself included) will NEVER vote for Collins and I will vote for the Dem candidate regardless but not enough will for Mills to win….unless Susie really flakes out in the next few months.

I wonder how long before my local grocery store reduces hours (again) 70% of their customers ( heavily red district with no job opportunities) are on some sort of government assistance.

Currently transcribing the 1900 census for my local historical society. This is one of the categories included… “how many children were born to this woman and how many are alive”. One family lost 5 children to diphtheria in a 6 week span.

When I worked for a military contractor our contract was “cost plus” ( the plus being some fixed %). One can easily imagine how quickly those “costs” can increase with even the slightest change in scope. The F35 is a good example.

I have a daughter and two grandchildren living in Denmark. They are so much better for it.
