Three images of the mold gold cape with hammered designs

I've waited a long time to see the Mold Cape in 'real' life and it didn't disappoint. The Museum of Liverpool and PSs have created a regionally focussed exhibition exploring the idea of treasure.

It really hammers home how rich the archaeology of North West England and North East Wales is 🏺πŸͺ™

Very excited to see this out in the wild πŸ‘€πŸΊ

It's a real collaborative monograph which details the excavation of the Bowl Hole & provides a wider overview of the excavations at the castle.

The first chapter, co-authored with Graeme Young & Barbara Yorke, is freely available to read πŸ‘‰

Today we launch the My Heritage online exhibition with our friends at Photoworks, funded by the @HeritageFundUK

It's probably my favourite project I've been involved with lately as it was so great to tap into my creative side and explore #archaeology🏺 from a fresh perspective.
