My mom started the habit in me of always going to lunch and/or the mall after an endo appointment. So now I’m off to a mall in Atlanta to act like I have money for anything. 🛍️
That’s something I don’t miss about apartment living: not being able to invite myself to dinner at the neighbor’s place.
I spent 20 minutes on my lunch break sitting in the back of my car with the hatch open. I was freezing because the AC at work was set to arctic and I forgot my sweater. Plus I was wearing a tank top. 20 minutes I sunned like a lizard. My shoulders are pink. It was barely sunny!
Not like GoodRX. It is good RX. They’re using the exact same codes. There was a pharmacist on Threads that took the time to compare every code and they were identical.
My grandpa served in WWII, but they honorably discharged him because they thought doing a PhD was a better use of his potential than fighting a war. He was so, so smart.
I think it’s hilarious how over on Threads it’s like a *thing* to use somebody’s name in smartass responses; I think the bots are picking it up. A lot of usernames are like johnsmith2323 or BeccaThePoet. Me? Pancreassassin. On two occasions now I’ve been called Pancreas like it’s my government name.
Over on Threads everyone is saying “well you don’t know she’s taking Ozempic. Stop assuming!” But she’s publicly talked about taking it? I’m not convinced the face isn’t surgery. It looks like that buccal fat removal that is taking over Hollywoood.

For years I had to pay oop to see my endo. It was worth it bc I really trusted my NP. I’d been going there since I was 19, and they always charged me for the lowest tier of service no matter what. The worst part? It was listed as covered on my insurance page. Their LAB was covered but nothing else.

I think the goal is to get the bedtime dose nailed down and then introduce it other times of the day. Most side effects are just excessive sleepiness so Dr wants my body to get used to the med when it’s allowed to sleep.
Google is telling me gabapentin is used as an adjunct therapy to TREAT nightmares.
I’m reluctant to take it again. But I need to get to maintenance levels (at least 300mg) before I can officially decide if it’s working.
I’ve been taking 100mg at bedtime. No pain relief. Sunday and Monday nights I took 200mg. Yesterday I woke up overnight yelling. Pretty sure it was an out loud yell (I know I do that sometimes and the pets were freaked out). My heart was racing. I think I was having really bad nightmares?
My current gyn is trying to not have me go through surgery again because my organs are already stuck together with scar tissue and more surgery means more scar tissue.
I’m still in tons of pain. Every day. She she prescribed a titration onto gabapentin. Well…
As an adult T1D I get to worry AND suffer physically. Plus I have to pay for my own meds, and face a ton of stigma because I am overweight and assumed to be type 2 even by supposed medical professionals. Every ailment I’ve had since age 7 is either because I’m a girl, diabetic, or fat.

Our family cat of 17 years just died. Comfortably, in his sleep. He hated people for the first 14 years. My dad hated the cat until about December 2025. Then they became buds. Then the cat died. That’s so tragic.
I’ll be sure to let him know the new cats love attention.
It’s just a bunch of copied GoodRX coupons. A pharmacist I follow took the time to look up the numbers on a few of the cards. They are literally the same as GoodRX. They just stole the discount codes.

I’ve had a really bad headache since August. Insurance is denying the test to see if I have a CSF leak. My head fucking HURTS.
I should legally be allowed to find the doctor who denied it and hit him in the head with a frying pan at least twice per day.

There’s this cute lil independent book store near my work that holds events from time to time like crochet groups, DnD, etc. I’m putting out there my intention to go to the creative writing workshop in February.
Also, they have 2 shop cats. If someone opened a coffee shop it would be perfect!
