Deryk looks a lil different than how I remember

She will still wither and die in the real world just in different way.

And thats why both endings are so good coz its so subjective and can reflect the players own opinion especially with coping to grief and blaming oneself.

The ending is very subjective honestly and while I do agree I dont like that ending too I also kinda understand why people choose her ending than the other. Alicia is implied to be abused in the real world (by Aline especially) and escapism is probably her only way.
